This was a pretty big year for Kokua Technologies, we have expanded our Managed IT services and outreach into Orlando, FL. Recently, we have had the opportunity to bring together two entities to help people in need in the Orlando area, Mattress Outlet and & New Beginnings. Both organizations being a part of Kokua Technologies client base, owner & CEO Jeff Platt wanted a way to help give back to the community in the local area, so he facilitated a conversation between the two organizations to find out what could be done to help provide New Beginnings with materials and resources they were lacking. Due to a shortage of mattresses, people that were turning to New Beginnings for help & shelter, had found themselves in some situations sleeping on floors. So it became quickly apparent that the pairing of Mattress Outlet and New Beginnings was a “no brainer”. Mattress Outlet was quick to answer the call and eager to donate their services to help out New Beginnings by offering free delivery of their new mattresses to people in the Orlando area, as well as furniture delivery. Then after waiving the delivery fee, Mattress Outlet is donating the used mattresses they haul away to the shelter, New Beginnings.

Here is what Mattress Outlet is offering:

• If you buy a new mattress from Mattress Outlet, they will waive the $50 delivery fee, haul away your old mattress for you and donate it back to the shelter who is in need of beds for those they help seek shelter.
• If you buy furniture and a mattress, Mattress Outlet is waiving both the furniture & mattress delivery fee of $105, and will haul away your old mattress and furniture, and then donate it to the shelter as well.
